The picture on the left has been appearing on forums over the past day or so, and opinion seems to be divided as to whether this is actually a leaked photo of a prototype Xbox 2 wireless controller. It bears a huge resemblance to the images from Ourcolony.net, especially if you compare the shape and placement of the directional pad/analogue stick (check this post for more details).

But take a look at the photo on the right of another prototype (posted in Gamespot’s Rumor Control section last year). The similarities are obvious - repositioned start and select buttons, lack of white/black buttons, position of the triggers, and the overall form. All the signs incline us to believe that the new picture isn’t fake, but you never know…
