It looks like we’re going to have to give up calling it Xbox 2 - as according to GamesIndustry.biz, Microsoft have settled for Xbox 360 as the chosen name for their next-gen console. Apparently a British source with access to marketing documents has confirmed that the machine is a concave shape with a platinum-white finish, and can be stood upright or laid flat.

It’s a shame they stuck with the 360 tag, but what’s in a name anyway? It’s the games that count.
