Doom Movie Delayed

April 14th, 2005 by Pugwash | General

The upcoming Doom movie expected in June has officially been delayed until October, according to bloody-disgusting.com.

It also appears the filmmakers are trying to insult fans of the franchise with “minor” changes to the script. The movie no longer takes place on Mars, the Space Marines have been replaced by a Special Ops squad, and the monsters aren’t even from hell - believe it or not, they’re the result of a mutated super-virus. Great.

So don’t hold your breath, especially if other recent videogame/movie efforts are anything to go by (Alone in the Dark, anyone?).
