Crysis Coming To PS3?

Crytek, The team behind the upcoming Crysis game for PC are looking to hire themselves some PS3 console programmers.
So far, Crytek have only announced Crysis for the PC (expected early 2007), but this job posting suggests that they’re looking to appeal to third party developers by bringing CryEngine2 to the PS3.

I’ve been hearing a lot of things about Crysis and I can’t wait for the PC release! However, if it is going to come out on PS3, then I’ll have a decision to make. I’m definitely getting PS3 and prefer to play this kind of game on a console.
OK, you have got to be kidding me, you would (a) rather play a first person shooter on a CONSOLE with its slooow controls compared to a mouse and keyboard and (b) you are going to get a PS3? I have a Playstation, Playstation 2 and yet I have to admit the XBox 360 is better, it is a hard pill to swallow but you have got to face it, if you get a PS3 its not gonna be anywhere near as good as an XBox 360 plus Sony has lost all of it’s exclusivity to the good games it once had.
Sorry folks. Biggest rumor around. It will never go to the ps3 or 360. Neither is just powerful enough to run the game. Plus it is a vista game so lol. sorry to bust your bubbles.
First off it’s not one of the biggest rumors around because the ps3 is much more powerful than low end pc’s that could run crysis like mine. I have a 4 year old pc with a pentium 4 and ati x1300 graphics card with 512 mg of ram (don’t know if it’s ddr2 or ddr) and I could still run crysis at the lowest settings with very little lag. The ps3 has a lot of processing power along with very good graphics, much better than mine. And the fact that they are hiring ps3 programmers on their web site could be a possibility that it will come. It for sure won’t look as good as the pc version would. Plus they might even allow you to use a mouse and keyboard for the ps3 just like unreal tournament. Or go buy the fragFX.
To add to this the ps3 is much better than the 360. The games might not be as good but the console it self and all the features are far better with free online. Plus sony is starting to get games on their console like lost planet and allot of new games coming out exclusive for sony like haze and many others. So nice try saying the 360 is better, and don’t think I’m saying this without having seen and tried all the features of the 360.
