By June 30th 2007, Microsoft expect to have sold over 13 million Xbox 360 consoles. This follows the latest report that sales of the 360 so far have surprassed 5 million and are well on their way to passing the 10 million mark before the end of 2006.

The Xbox has hit the USA and Europe’s shelves harder than anyone elses, with a combined 4.6 million units sold, compared with just 400,000 for the rest of the world (A pretty low figure, bearing in mind the population of the rest of the world, which includes China and Japan - two technology-crazy countries).
