Sega Saturn Controller Hacked To Work With Xbox 360

Saturn controller

Not wanting to play Xbox Live’s Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting with the 360 controller, Twistedsymphony from the Xbox-Scene forums, Has managed to make his old saturn controller work almost perfectly on an Xbox 360 - Even managing to retain its wireless functionality (sort of).

The saturn controller is completely unmodified, However, The poor 360 controller didn’t fair quite as well during the project.

The whole thing is on a breadboard at the moment. I plan on eventually revisiting this project and using a larger chip and build an adapter that will work with other types of controllers such as the Saturn Analog controller or perhaps older controllers like the NES and SNES. At that point I might clean up the circuit into a professional looking PCB and project box.

Full details of how it all works are over at the Xbox Scene Forums along with a video.
