Good news this week for fans of first person shooters. Valve have announced an enhanced version of Half-Life 2 for the 360, improving, at least visually, on the Xbox version. But even better is the announcement of Episodes 1 and 2, the expansion packs for Half-life 2, along with Counter Strike Source and Team Fortress 2.

All the usual multiplayer live options will be available, but there is no mention of cross-platform multiplayer with PC gamers, though this does seem unlikely at the moment, until the release of Windows Vista at least.

Personally i am looking forward to Half-life 2 deathmatch, as hitting someone on the head with a urinal is the only way to frag.
