By now, most gamers know about Spore, the next game from Will Wright, designer on SimCity and The Sims. The game will let players create a custom-built microscopic germ that can evolve into a macroscopic critter that can walk on land, build its own cities, and eventually discover the secret of space travel.

In an interview with GameSpot, When asked when we can expect to see Spore on the shelves, Wright said: "We’re saying the second half of next year [2007] for now."

This would be the PC version, But Wright has plans to bring the game to other platforms. Infact, Since this is an EA game, Expect to see Spore making an appearance on pretty much every platform in some form or another in the future.
