Crysis Multiplayer Details Emerge

While Far Cry’s multiplayer component was fairly sub-standard, Crytek have reportedly learnt their leason and designed the multiplayer mode for the much anticipated Crysis from the ground up, promising to be "something better than we’ve ever seen before!"
The game will feature the usual FPS multiplayer modes such as Tactical Deathmatch, Tactical Team Deathmatch, and Tactical Capture. There will also be a mode called "Power Struggle" which apparently has taken many of the current irritations in existing FPS multiplayers and mashed them all together.
In Power Struggle you’ll start the game as a primitive grunt – either US or Korean. You’ll be given just the very basics including basic armor and a pistol. As you make kills and achieve other goals (like securing capture points), you’ll earn credits which can be used to obtain bigger and better things. Your headquarters will be armed with automated missiles and turrets – effectively eliminating base campers altogether. Your headquarters may be an offshore submarine or inland base.
Another interesting point the article mentions is the day-night system, where every two hours is equal to one Crysis day, it switches gradually from day to night and back again.
