Speaking to Eurogamer at Leipzig’s Game Convention, Valve’s Doug Lombardi revealed that Half-Life 2: Episode 2’s release date has been put back to February 2007, In a case of "classic Valve being overly aggressive on our dates."

The latest installment in the Half-Life series had been originally scheduled for release at the end of this year and – unlike the previous installment – Episode 2 will include two other Valve titles and ship simultaneously on three platforms – PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.

There’s no firm pricing on Episode 2 as yet, with Lombardi only telling that the price will be "somewhere in between Episode One [pricing] and full price."
