Bizarre Threatens Action Against Geometry Wars Clone

Bizarre Creations, makers of the massively popular Geometry Wars game available through XBLA, claim they are "beginning to feel the effects" of Mark Incitti’s freeware PC title Grid Wars and requested that the author remove the game from the internet for download.

HD-DVD Add On Required For 360 Games?

Xbox news site Xboxic have on their site, a scan from a page in Consumer Electronics daily that indicated that, in the future, games on the 360 could require the, as yet unreleased, HD-DVD drive. This is a quote from the article in question:

Nintendo Confirms Free Online Play

F.E.A.R. Combat Announced

Sierra Entertainment announced today that the multiplayer portion of its highly acclaimed first-person shooter, F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon), will be released for free online starting August 17. The game will be titled F.E.A.R. X360/PS3 Gets NBA Street
