Activision has announced that Call of Duty 2 has become the first game on the Xbox 360 to reach the 1 million mark in sales in the US.

The World War II first-person shooter was one of 18 titles launched with the 360 back in November 2005. It may also be worth noting that according to Joystiq: Wikipedia also recognizes Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as performing the same feat in less time.
