The now officially named SIXAXIS PS3 controller is called so due to its six degree motion sensing feature (up/down, left/right, forwards/backwards). It will be released on the same day as the PS3 and cost around $43 compared to the Wii’s $60 for both Wiimote and Nun-Chuck.

Also announced is the USB powered Memory Card adapter, making it possible to transfer your PS2 and PS1 saved games to the PS3. It will retail at $13 (not including the memory card).
