Hosted by Mr. Cool himself, Samuel Jackson, the awards are due to be televised on Wednesday 12th.

The opening cinematic sequence from Blizzard’s World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade, was premiered at the awards and will be seen officially for the first time on Spike TV on Wednesday along with the rest of the event. Some enterprising soul who attended the ceremony happened to have a video cam with him, however, and managed to ninja (in WOW parlance) some not bad footage of the Burning Crusade movie. He has put it up on YouTube for us all to marvel at.
