According to a recent statement from communications boss David Karraker, All PS3 manufacturing issues have been resolved and Sony is still on target to ship one million PS3 consoles before the year is out.
“We will continue to utilise airfreight delivery for PlayStation 3 to assure a steady stream of systems for North American consumers through the end of the year.”
Research firm NPD published a report showing that 197,000 PS3 units were sold during November - less than half SCEA’s target of 400,000 for launch day.
