New Zelda: Twilight Princess Video Released (Wii)

Nintendo are on a roll recently, having already announced the release date and price of the Wii console they go on to unveil a new Zelda: Twilight Princess trailer. Originally planned for the GameCube and probably one of most anticipated tittles for the Wii launch, it features motion-sensing controls and updated visual effects.

Splinter Cell Double Agent Dated

An official post on Ubisoft’s message boards states that Splinter Cell Double Agent will be released on October 19, 2006. The Ubisoft Community Manager that posted this information did not list the platforms that it would be released on for that date, but there will be demos for both the Xbox 360 and the PC.

EA extend PGA deal to 2012

Electronic Arts and the Professional Golfers’ Association have extended the deal in which EA make PGA branded golf games for a further six years. This should also mean that we get more Tiger Woods games, provided the sports star is willing. A spokesman for the PGA had this to say:

Gamecube Price Drop On The Way?

An EB Games employee has told Gamespot that the retailer has recieved marketing materials for the Gamecube which suggest Nintendo is considering dropping its price.

The Woodcube

Check out Robert Edström’s monstrous creation, the Woodcube. It’s basically a SNES, Playstation and N64, all lovingly crammed into a single wooden box – ghetto style. This “unique piece of gaming history” is up for auction over at Ebay.se. See more photos of it here.
