Remedy showed off their upcoming psychological thriller, Alan Wake, recently at the Intel developer forum.
The game was running on quad-core processors, using the “multiple cores to stream in data seamlessly in the background” - however it works, the results are stunning!

Nintendo have released the official box art design for their latest console the Nintendo Wii. Ok so it’s nothing exciting but hey, it’s a box!

Here it is, Ubisofts Red Steel box art for the Nintendo Wii. Also confirmed at the bottom of the box is the Teen rating. Red Steel is not your ordinary first person shooter, it takes a much more ‘hands on’ approach requiring you to slash and point the Wii’s motion-sensing controller to control your character.

Koei Canada’s Fatal Inertia is an aerial combat racing game for the Playstation 3. Similar to Wipeout and F-Zero but with the difference that items are used not to damage other players but to create a variety of physics-based effects. Fatal Inertia is still on track for the Playstation 3 launch come November 19th.

The games looking pretty slick so far, then again, what developer could resist touching up their screens before they hand them out? So who knows if the final build’s gonna live up to these beauties. Lets hope so…

Sega’s upcoming next-gen Sonic title (simply called Sonic The Hedgehog) is shaping up to be quite a beauty if these screenshots are anything to go by (which, lets face it, in most cases they aren’t).
