EA extend PGA deal to 2012

Electronic Arts and the Professional Golfers’ Association have extended the deal in which EA make PGA branded golf games for a further six years. This should also mean that we get more Tiger Woods games, provided the sports star is willing. A spokesman for the PGA had this to say:

New Crysis Gameplay Footage

A short video has recently been released showing off more of the impressive visuals we can expect to see in Crytek’s highly anticipated first person shooter – Crysis.
And it would seem that tree-felling with miniguns (predator style) is now just another way that game environments mimick the real world.

Blizzard Bans 59,000 WoW Accounts

Blizzard has announced that they’ve banned a staggering 59,000 World of Warcraft accounts in June and "removed well over 22 million gold from the total economy across all realms".

PS3 Game Cancelled Due To Development Costs

PS3 Land are reporting that Track7Games have cancelled development on the PS3 version of their upcoming multi-platform title Theseis.
Track7Games blames the problem on "the exceptionally high cost of developing for PS3".
Theseis is still planned to appear on the Xbox 360 and the PC sometime later this year.

Oblivion rating changed to M for Mature
