Sure, the Quantaray Aluminium Carrying Case isn’t designed for the PSP (the reviewer found it in a digital camera shop), and it’s not exactly practical – but at $29, it’s the only way to go if you’re after the ultimate in PSP protection!

It appears another PSP clone has been discovered in Japan – this time it’s the POP Station Value Pack.
Unfortunately they’re not up for sale, so the only way to get your hands on one is to win it from a UFO Catcher machine.

LiquidIce from the ps2dev.org forums has posted photos of a custom controller page he’s created for his PSP. Accessing it from within the Wipeout Pure browser effectively turns it into a multifunctional remote, allowing him to control his DVD player, TIVO and HDTV (even turn out the lights) all wirelessly from the PSP.

Namco has announced Dead to Rights: Reckoning for the PSP, due for release sometime in May 2005. As well as new weapons and disarm moves, it will feature a wireless multiplayer deathmatch mode (but how will that work with Bullet Time?).

Informit.com are running a short article on how to add an external antenna to your PSP to boost its Wi-Fi signal strength. Not that we’ll be attempting it anytime soon, but interesting nonetheless.

The guys over at cq-ef.net have discovered that the PSP can be used to store Xbox game saves, using a standard USB keyboard adapter. We’re unsure why you’d want to do this, but the point is that it’s possible.
Be warned that it completely reformats your Memory Stick, so you’ll lose all your PSP save data [...]
