Here it is, Ubisofts Red Steel box art for the Nintendo Wii. Also confirmed at the bottom of the box is the Teen rating. Opera Browser Will Be Free On The Wii

New Zelda: Twilight Princess Video Released (Wii)

Nintendo are on a roll recently, having already announced the release date and price of the Wii console they go on to unveil a new Zelda: Twilight Princess trailer. Nintendo UK Says The Wii Is Region Locked

Nintendo UK has told Gameindustry.biz that the Wii will be region locked, despite the recent reports from Nintendo’s of America’s VP of Marketing, Perrin Kaplan, that ALL first-party Wii games will be region free.

First-Party Wii Games Will Be Region Free [Update 1]

Thanks to Joel Johnson from Wired News we now have confirmation from Nintendo’s VP of Marketing Perrin Kaplan that ALL first-party Wii games will be without region locks. This means that all games made by Nintendo for the Wii will be playable on Wii systems from all regions.

Japan & U.S. Wii Launch Details Announced

Nintendo announced today that the Wii will launch in Japan on December 2nd, priced at 25,000 Yen (around $215).
The Wii will be launching in the U.S. almost two weeks earlier, on November 19th, and will retail at $249.99. The U.S. version comes bundled with Wii sports.

26 Retro Classics Launching On Wii Virtual Console

If Play-Nintendo magazine are to be believed, The Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console service will launch with at least 26 games.
Play-Nintendo say their information came from “A trustworthy source”, lets just hope they’re right because the titles they’ve given as the launch lineup are some of the best loved retro games ever created.
