PS3 Games Will Be Very Slow To Load

Apparently, size is not all that matters. At least, that’s what we can say for sure about the ongoing war between the two upcoming media formats: Blu-ray and HD-DVD.

DOAX 2 Pushes The Frontiers Of Gaming

Scans of a recent Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu have revealed that DOAX 2 will be the most graphically advanced game ever seen, period! Tecmo have used the 360’s 3.2 GHz Tri-Cored processor to render in high definition, wait for it…. bikini tan lines!

Microsoft Releases Updated Backwards Compatibility List.

HL2: Episode 2 Delayed Until Q1 2007

Speaking to Eurogamer at Leipzig’s Game Convention, Valve’s Doug Lombardi revealed that Half-Life 2: Episode 2’s release date has been put back to February 2007, In a case of "classic Valve being overly aggressive on our dates."

Sonic Next-Gen Screens

Sega’s upcoming next-gen Sonic title (simply called Sonic The Hedgehog) is shaping up to be quite a beauty if these screenshots are anything to go by (which, lets face it, in most cases they aren’t).
Sonic the Hedgehog is due to be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 during the 2006 Christmas holiday season.

Bizarre Threatens Action Against Geometry Wars Clone

HD-DVD Add On Required For 360 Games?

Xbox news site Xboxic have on their site, a scan from a page in Consumer Electronics daily that indicated that, in the future, games on the 360 could require the, as yet unreleased, HD-DVD drive. This is a quote from the article in question:
